Are children invited to the ceremony/reception?

Sorry, no, we are having a strictly adult ceremony and reception.

A wedding ceremony is a very important a serious event. Also, it is boring as Hell for children. Therefore, children often find ways to amuse themselves...usually in loud ways. We would like to not be interupted during our ceremony. We do not believe that a wedding reception, an environment where people are drinking, is a place for children either.

Can I change the person I am bringing as a guest?
Yes, of course. But, please send an e-mail or call to let us know who you are bringing so we can make sure we have the correct name for the place cards.
What if it rains?

Then we'll get wet! (But you don't have to!) We understand if our guests would rather not get wet and muddy if it is raining on our wedding day. We encourage our guests to skip the ceremony and meet us at the hall for the reception if the weather does not suit them. After all the ceremony will on be about 15 minutes anyways and there will be lots of pictures!

Are there any accomodations closer then Kingston?
Sorry. There is only one B&B in Verona, and the grooms family has booked the entire house. Kingston is the closest for accomodations.
If I am staying in Kingston and would like to drink at the reception, can I get a ride home?
Yes. There will be many people heading to Kingston at the end of the night that I am sure you can hitch a ride with. Also, there will be flat-rate taxis available to call for a price of $40.00 one-way to Kingston from the reception hall.
What should I wear?

Your favorite dress-up cloths. Semi-formal (top-hat and tails not required). Feel free to leave your heels in the car for the ceremony, Ladies. The ceremony site is entirely grass, so you may want to throw on a pair of flats or even rubber boots until you make it to the reception, depending on the weather in the days before the wedding. Also, if you prefer to dress as flamboyantly fancy as you can, do that! We welcome interesting hats especially.

I am Vegetarian, Vegan, allergic to nuts, etc. will I be able to eat at the reception?
Yes! We will take into account all of your lifestyle/food allergy needs. We have many vegetarian and vegan friends so we already have created a V-friendly menu for them. If you have allergies just drop us an e-mail and let us know what not to put in the food. We would like to avoid sending our guests to the hospital.
What's the music going to be like at the reception?
Hardcore death metal and black metal only... We're kidding. We are doing our own iPod DJing and we are going to try and please everyone, ourselves included. We like pretty much everything...except Rap and Dance music, and Pop...okay so we don't like some stuff but we like enough that everyone should be able to dance and be happy.  Since we are our own DJs and the play list is pre-planned, if you have a request you must tell us beforehand because we won't be able to add it at the reception.
